Mental Health Associate-2nd Shift (Bessemer Location)

This position is for our Bessemer Group Home. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our mission is simple: to enrich lives of at-risk youth and their families by delivering quality behavioral and educational services while fostering a safe transition to the community.

The Mental Health Associate:
He/she provides direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders, to ensure their safety and well-being. MHA's have the primary responsibility for ensuring the resident's safety on the unit utilizing a therapeutic approach to all tasks including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups and other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor.

This position is 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, with a rotating 12 hour weekend shift (9am-9:30pm, Sat and Sun). This position is also eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus.
