Senior Mobile Developer – Birmingham, AL

We are seeking a Lead Mobile Developer with deep native mobile expertise and a proven ability to mentor and scale engineering teams. This role will play a key part in driving architecture, best practices, and delivery excellence across mobile platforms.

• Lead development of native mobile applications across iOS and/or Android
• Architect scalable, high-performance mobile solutions
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
• Establish and enforce mobile development best practices
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs across applications
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical direction
• Participate in Agile Scrum processes and drive delivery outcomes
• Provide clear communication, status updates, and facilitate team alignment

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a mobile developer working with native OS architectures
• Extensive experience with iOS:
  Swift, Swift
  
  UI;
  Android:
  Kotlin, Jetpack Compose
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading developers
• Strong experience with third-party libraries and API integrations
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Comfortable working in a structured Agile Scrum environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to drive consensus across teams

• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Google Play Store
• Experience working across both iOS and Android platforms
• Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments

• Team includes 2 Level 3 Engineers and 1 Level 4 Engineer
• Part of a larger organization with three mobile development teams
• Agile delivery model with high visibility and impact

• Initial 45-minute interview
