Software Engineer Senior - Finance BI Reporting

As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Finance BI Reporting organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL.

• Provide leadership for quality assurance and testing activities across the product lifecycle to ensure solutions meet functional, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the quality subject‑matter expert for the supported line of business/domain, applying risk‑based testing principles and test impact analysis.
• Lead the development, coordination, and approval of test strategies, test plans, execution results, defect triage, and release readiness across multiple teams.
• Oversee the use of UI and API test automation tools to improve test coverage, consistency, and efficiency.
• Define and report on quality and release readiness metrics, proactively identifying and managing risk in alignment with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Write code, test and deploy software.
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintain and debug software.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong software development and quality assurance experience.
• Experience with test automation of UI and API.
• Knowledge of risk‑based testing principles and regulatory requirements.
• Desire to lead cross‑functional testing activities.
• Valid certifications are desired but not required.

Base Salary: $55,000.00 - $ (may vary by location, market data, skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
