Senior AI Integration Developer

• Build and maintain internal AI tooling and workflow automation that improves team efficiency and service quality.
• Integrate AI APIs — including OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Hugging Face / open-source models — into production applications.
• Architect reliable, secure, and performant API integrations with appropriate error handling, rate-limit management, and cost awareness.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and team members to translate business requirements into AI‑enhanced solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Provide light mentoring to junior developers: code reviews, pairing sessions, and practical guidance on AI integration patterns.
• Stay current with the fast-moving AI landscape and proactively recommend tools or approaches that benefit our clients and internal operations.
• Assist with Word Press‑based projects on an as‑needed basis.

• Proven, hands‑on experience integrating one or more AI APIs:
  OpenAI (GPT‑4 / Assistants API), Anthropic (Claude API), or Hugging Face models.
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and LLM response handling in production environments.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with webhooks and async patterns.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git / Git Hub), CI/CD workflows, and remote collaboration tools.

• Experience with function calling, tool use, or agentic AI patterns (e.g., Lang Chain, Vercel AI SDK, or similar).
• Familiarity with embedding models, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), or RAG architectures.
• Knowledge of open‑source model deployment via Hugging Face Inference API or self‑hosted options.
• Light Word Press / Woo Commerce knowledge (theme/plugin awareness, not deep development).
• Experience with Figma for design‑to‑code handoff.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for AI‑generated or dynamic content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in async, remote environments using Microsoft Teams.
