Senior Software Engineer (AI-Augmented Development) – Role Overview

This is a full‑time Senior Software Engineer role based in Birmingham, AL (hybrid — regular in‑office time expected). You'll take ownership of significant parts of our core product suite, making architecture and design decisions, building the features and data infrastructure that turn complex partner and customer data into clear, actionable insight, and helping raise the bar for the engineers around you.

We move fast, ship often, and expect engineers at this level to use modern AI tooling to build and lead at a pace that would be impossible otherwise.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning features or systems end to end
• Hands‑on daily experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or similar) as a core part of your workflow, not an occasional assist
• Comfortable reviewing, debugging, and taking ownership of AI‑generated code — you treat the AI as a force multiplier, not a black box
• Experience making architecture and design decisions, not just implementing someone else's spec
• Strong database experience (schema design, query optimization, performance tuning)
• Experience with React and modern frontend development
• Experience with .NET / C# and backend service development
• Ability to mentor and raise the technical bar for engineers around you

• Experience with Next.js
• Experience with API integrations and data pipelines
• Background in B2B SaaS
• Familiarity with the technology reseller/channel partner ecosystem (Cisco, or similar vendor partner programs)
• Experience working in a small, fast-moving startup environment

You should be comfortable being the person others come to when something is genuinely tricky, and comfortable pushing back when a plan doesn’t hold up.
