Software Engineer, C2BMC Missile Defense – Associate, Mid Level, Senior

Responsibilities

• Work with industry partners as a key contributor to design, develop, maintain, and test new and existing Java-based applications in support of the C2
  
  BMC applications.
• Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, supporting design and code reviews, software testing, and resolution of issues found during testing.
• Actively participate in agile planning and execution using established processes.
• Software Requirements and architecture development in support of MDS systems.
• Develop, select, tailor and deploy integration and test processes, tools and metrics.
• Execute and document integration and test activities and events.
• Mentor junior engineers.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Active Secret Clearance
• Familiarity with the Agile software development process
• 2+ years of experience with backend development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server)
• 2+ years working in Unix or Linux environment
• 2+ years of development, deployment and version control tools such as Git, Eclipse, Jira and Version One
• 1+ year of experience with SysML Modeling Language
• Strong Java (J2EE/Java Spring) development experience
• Strong understanding of software development principles including OOP, design patterns, and testing/debugging techniques
• Knowledge of server side development and message passing
