Job Description

Position: CDL A Driver

The CDL A Driver will transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. The role involves operating manual and automatic transmission equipment such as vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

• Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods/materials over long distances following safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate specialized pump equipment to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain accurate administrative records (manifest, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, incident reports).
• Ensure vehicle placarding meets DOT regulations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status, and delays.
• Operate safely, protecting employees, clients, and the public.
• Interpret maps and follow written and oral directions in English.

• CDL Class A license.
• 21 years or older.
• Acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to interpret maps and follow directions in English.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Commercial tanker or Haz Mat endorsement.

• Walk, stand, sit, and climb for long periods.
• Grab, grip, reach, push, pull, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Visual and hearing activity required.

Base pay range: $42,700.00 – $56,800.00 USD for the primary location.
