Aircrew Scheduling Support - Temporary w​/Active Secret - Birming Security Clearance

River Tech is seeking an Aircrew Scheduling Support team member to work at McChord AFB, WA. This role supports mission operations in an aircrew flying squadron.

• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to ensure full coverage of all aircrew, instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions.
• Coordinate with senior squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis.
• Coordinate with simulator contractors as required for simulator events.
• Track crew members leave, temporary duty, and schedules medical appointments or other scheduling commitments.
• Coordinate with the training officer, NCO, SARM, UDM, and Operations Officer to arrange schedules that facilitate aircrew qualifications, upgrades, tests, exercises, and continuation training to meet required currency and progression standards, in accordance with squadron priorities.
• De-conflict crew member schedules and coordinate with flight leadership to ensure crew members are available to meet assigned mission taskings.
• Track daily flight/ground/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate flight scheduling.
• Report updates to squadron leadership and make them available to aircrew through Government-approved means.
• Facilitate last‑minute schedule changes to ensure full coverage by working with the mission commander/operations supervisor and flight representatives responsible for the shift that is not fully manned.
• Publish/post scheduling data for unit long- and short-range ground/academic, flying, and simulator training event schedules on a government-designated system.
• Comply with Operations Group, Wing Current Operations, and Group Training locally developed guidance when building the schedule.
• Perform daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates.
• Coordinate with outside agencies, exercise participants, and higher headquarters representatives for reporting and to facilitate exercise and special event schedules.
• Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling/Current Operations through attendance at weekly meetings for schedule coordination and de‑confliction.
• Produce Flight Authorizations that have cleared the Group Stan/Eval Go-No/Go process.
• Update Load Tracker for the next week’s schedule.
• Produce the Flying Hour Program Report as requested.

• Experience as a USAF aircrew member.
• Experience working in a United States Air Force (USAF) Squadron, Group, or Wing flying/maintenance squadron.
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing flying scheduling office.
• Experience as a scheduler in a transportation, maritime, aircraft maintenance, or commercial airline company.
• Must have an active Secret Security clearance.
• Must have a minimum of a high school degree or GED.
