CDL B Truck Driver

This role is not open for submission from outside staffing agencies.

Located at AIG, 2700 19th St N, Birmingham, AL 35207.

• Pay range $18- $25/hour depending on CDL class and experience ($23-$25/hour is for CDL A Class holders only).
• Quarterly safety bonus opportunities.
• Shifts Monday – Friday 7 AM until route is finished. Home daily with occasional overnight trips possible.

A highly motivated and hard‑working, reliable and punctual Delivery Driver who can work in various weather conditions and assist with loading and unloading.

• Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick‑up route for the day.
• Load and unload truck of glass scheduled for delivery.
• Deliver glass to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Pick up glass along the scheduled route, including returns, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to the maintenance schedule; report larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assist in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Class A or B CDL license with minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience after school (you will be driving Class B trucks).
• Ability to pass a 7‑year MVR.
• Flatbed experience highly preferred.
• Moffett experience highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Can lift 75 lbs.
• Can work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web‑based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Always remain professional and courteous.
