CDL-A OTR Truck Driver - Recent Graduate (Full Time)

Type: OTR Van

Class A Recent Graduates will run 100% no-touch freight starting at 0.55 CPM with average miles of 2,500-2,800, equating to $1,200-$1,500 per week. All freight is no-touch.

Drivers are primarily based east of I-35, may run further out, and are home every other week for two days.

Trainee drivers are paid $800-$900 per week and must complete 250-300 hours behind the wheel before going solo. Afterward, solo drivers start at 0.55 CPM. Trainees must be willing to run OTR for the training period because there are no trainers available on this account. Once a driver is solo, they may bring a dog and rider from day one, but are not allowed during training.

• Must be 21 with a valid Class A CDL
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years, and no major moving violations (e.g., 15+, following too closely, reckless, careless) in the last 12 months
• No more than one preventable DOT accident in the last two years, unless the accident is a major incident such as rollover or jackknife, which must be at least five years old
• No more than three preventable incidents (e.g., parking lot or backing at a customer) in the last three years, and no more than three DOT preventable accidents in the last three years
• No more than one DUI in the last five years and have never failed a DOT drug test
• Criminal record review: no felony convictions in the last five years and no misdemeanors in the last three years
