Job Overview
DSL Express and partners are hiring Class A CDL Solo OTR Truck Drivers for OTR and Teams to operate a modernized fleet. Company drivers with at least 2 years experience and a clean MVR/PSP score are preferred. Positions open immediately in Alabama (Birmingham area), Pennsylvania (Allentown area), and other states. Nationwide OTR routes are available.
Pay Structure- 30% line haul + bonuses (most popular for solos)
- $1,900–$2,400 weekly average + bonuses
- Option to switch anytime to miles pay
- Up to 60 cents per mile for automatic drivers,
65 cents for manual drivers - Annual pay ranges from $104,000 to $145,000 depending on effort
- No forced dispatch
- Valid Class A CDL with no pending suspensions
- Minimum 2 years CDL experience
- Clean MVR and reasonable PSP report (no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years)
- Ability to work with modern ELD systems
- Pass a drug test – no acceptance of drug or alcohol issues in last 4 years
- Valid medical card issued by the state
- Stable work history and good references
- Restricted: no DWI/DUI or BAC violations in last 4 years, no reckless driving convictions in last 3 years, no license suspension in last 3 years, no more than 2 moving violations in last year
- Preference for drivers from Alabama (Birmingham) or Pennsylvania (Allentown), but location is not a limitation
- Open to both dry van and tanker work
- All drivers must comply with no touch freight policies
- Drivers may be assigned unlimited mileage within ELD compliance, but preference for reduced miles on percentage pay
- Weekly direct deposit
- No forced dispatch
- Modern trucks (mostly automatic, some manual) with built‑in mechanic shop support
- Truck availability for hometime and parking options
- Dedicated dispatcher and 24/7 dispatch support
- No touch freight and fuel cards provided, EZ‑pass issued
- Flexible and good home time
- Hazard and occupational insurance for lost wages, medical, and death beneficiary payout
- Monthly bonuses based on safety, delivery, communication, and DOT inspection performance
- Direct deposit and weekly pay with no waiting on checks
