• Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors
• Receive newly donated items from our Donations team
• Help us be green and sustainable, sort and ship recyclable items
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
• Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner

Position Purpose and Objectives

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Distribution Shipping/Receiving Team Member to join our Distribution Center team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate material handling of shipping and receiving tasks, including the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

Roles and Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.

Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, packing lists, and inspect clothes and other items.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.

Label and process shipments using appropriate shipping software.

Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders.

Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, performing regular counts and audits.

Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock rotation and replenishment.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping work areas neat and clean.

Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
