Wheelchair Driver FULL-TIME Opportunity
We’rehiring a Wheelchair Van Driver
that will respond to emergency and/ornon-emergency requests fortransportationneedsanddeliver high-quality care, treatment and customer serviceto patients.
Responsibilities:
- Drivers will respond to operation and dispatchrequestsand usethe necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
- Clearly documenttripinformationdetailsandadhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Take pride inmaintaininga safeandcleanvehicleenvironment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
- Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company’s information security standards.
- Drivers willoperatetransportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well asbeable to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.
Minimum
Required
Qualifications:
- State Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CPR card
- Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
