Monday to Friday / Home Daily / 5:30am - 2:00pm

Starting Rate: $27.00 per hour + Overtime

We're looking for a safety-focused, dependable Local CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our team. Our local drivers play an important role in delivering our products safely and on time while providing excellent service to our customers.

• Safely operate a Class A flatbed commercial vehicle.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain assigned equipment and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and federal, state, and local requirements regarding hours of service, vehicle operation, and inspections.
• Properly secure and maintain loads throughout transport.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate anticipated delays.
• Verify the count and condition of delivered materials and complete required delivery documentation.
• Represent United Pipe & Steel professionally while providing a consistently high level of customer service.

• Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI convictions in the past ten years; no more than three violations occurring in the last 3 years.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, with flatbed experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate manual transmissions in certain markets.
• Physical Requirements
• Physical position, involving heavy lifting (~50 lbs.).
• Ability to climb on and off flatbed trailers, re-strapping or tarping product as needed.
• Able to pass random drug tests.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical exam.
