Distribution Associate - Birmingham, AL

Distribution / Warehouse / Order Picker / Material Handler / Forklift Operator

• Checks all material received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS / Fed Ex or customer returns.
• Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing RF gun and forklift equipment.
• Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
• Completes all shipping paperwork promptly, monitoring closely for any errors or quality discrepancies.
• Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
• Operates forklift and pallet jacks in a safe manner.

Education and/or Experience
:
High school diploma or GED; prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, material handler, distribution, and forklift operations experience; RF gun experience strongly preferred.

Computer Skills
:
Basic computer knowledge and experience.

Location
:
Must live within a reasonable distance from Distribution Center; job is NOT remote.

Physical Ability
:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
