Receiving Clerk needed immediately!
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Receiving Clerk for a position in Hoover, AL. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations, ensuring that incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Count and verify incoming parts and merchandise against purchase orders or shipment documents.
Organize and put away materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Unload trucks and containers promptly and safely.
Assist with other warehouse duties as required to support team operations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations organized.
Complete reports by entering required information.
Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physical tasks:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
Experience:

Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
Attention to Detail:
Strong ability to accurately count and keep records of parts and shipments.
Literacy:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Reliability:
Proven record of being reliable and punctual.
