Job Description

OVERVIEWThis position is responsible for all warehouse functions including but limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying, and recording incoming and outgoing shipments
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities, including sorting, organizing, and storing inventory
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products and making sure products are undamaged, safe and secure
- Ensure order fulfillment by maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary paperwork
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Physical abilities including heavy lifting will be required. Climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
- Familiarity with warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Team player, reliable, dependable, and willing to work
- Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management
- Having an acceptable driving record is a plus to be insurable for our company vehicles in case you participate in deliveries and/or transfers
40 hours per week. Usual working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. There may be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role dictates.
