Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Birmingham, AL, as Record Center Specialists. This role involves the physical handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh between 10 lbs and over 100 lbs. Employees will be responsible for processing orders and managing the movement of various materials, including files, books, binders, and backup tapes.

• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes.
• Process orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and move boxes manually and via hand carts.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate hand‑held scanners.
• Load and shrink‑wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders.
• Experience in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
