How We Work

Overflow operates with a flexible work model for most roles. This position is an exception: it's an on‑site, hands‑on role based out of our Birmingham, AL office, working a fixed part‑time schedule (see above).

The Role

The Tap Fulfillment Associate is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of Overflow's physical fulfillment operations. This role owns the movement of every Tap order from receiving inventory through quality inspection, fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management.

Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to maintain operational accuracy while supporting a fast‑growing product line.

What You Will Do Inventory Receiving & Quality Assurance
  • Receive incoming shipments from manufacturing partners.
  • Verify shipment quantities against production documentation.
  • Inspect products for quality, damage, packaging accuracy, and manufacturing defects.
  • Report discrepancies and assist in coordinating resolutions.
  • Organize and store inventory using established warehouse standards.
  • Ensure products meet company quality expectations before entering inventory.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
  • Pick and package customer orders accurately.
  • Verify all order contents prior to shipment.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and labels.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with shipping carriers.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking information.
  • Assist in resolving shipping exceptions when necessary.
Inventory Accuracy
  • Perform routine inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Support inventory audits and replenishment activities.
  • Maintain organized warehouse storage locations.
Operational Support
  • Assemble and prepare sample kits and internal shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Assist with process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Success, and manufacturing partners to resolve fulfillment issues.
What You Should Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
It'd Be Nice If You Had
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Experience with shipping platforms.
  • Experience performing quality inspections.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse technology.
  • Experience in custom print production, physical product fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
Our Compensation Philosophy

This is a part-time, contract position (approximately 6 hours/week). Pay is hourly;
Overflow will share the applicable rate during the interview process based on experience.

As a contract role, this position is not eligible for equity or Overflow's employee benefits package.
