Summary/Objective:
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 125 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages a leading alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage portfolio; the CME Shipping and Receiving Manager is a key member of the Corporate Marketing Equipment team responsible for providing leadership to the CME Shipping and Receiving Teams.
- Lead and direct Shipping and Receiving employees in their daily functions.
- Order equipment from suppliers through the appropriate channels and receive the orders into the Maintenance Connection System when received.
- Maintain correct par levels for equipment to meet demand without excessive inventory.
- Set productivity goals for Shipping and Receiving associates and ensure they are met.
- Provide training to Shipping and Receiving associates; ensure assigned BRC training is completed as directed.
- Process delivery and receipt of outside reman equipment from suppliers in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoices are processed correctly and timely.
- Receive and ship equipment in the Maintenance Connection program; manage part transfers in Maintenance Connection.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
- Perform duties in the Maintenance Connection program as outlined.
- Communicate with Franchise Teams to address issues related to ordering/shipping/receiving of work orders; work cohesively to utilize standard equipment where possible.
- Utilize reman equipment when possible; confirm any new orders with GM CME prior to placing orders with suppliers.
- Ensure Shipping and Receiving associates are proficient in Maintenance Program requirements.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse and outside grounds, properly labeled.
- May work weekends and/or overtime to meet customer demand; may work outside the immediate department to meet production demands.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
