Job DescriptionBuffalo Rock is an award‑winning bottler, managing a diverse beverage portfolio. The Forklift Operator Replenishment is primarily responsible for operating a sit‑down forklift to stock sourcing/picking locations of the Vertique Towers (HQS/SAW lanes) with products from back‑stock locations, ensuring continuous product flow and proper inventory rotation (FEFO).
Essential Functions- Regular and timely attendance; work all necessary hours to support operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform pre‑trip inspection on all power equipment used through the Info Link system.
- Operate a sit‑down forklift safely and efficiently.
- Follow all driving rules, maintain awareness of surroundings, and report any equipment malfunctions or incidents to management.
- Identify and source products from back‑stock locations using tablets, cell phones, and RF scanners to process move transactions.
- Rotate stock following the Location Base Inventory (LBI) process.
- Move correct products from back‑stock to Vertique Towers picking locations promptly.
- Handle packaged product properly to prevent damage.
- Communicate with lead/supervisor, pickers, and system operators via radio regarding lane status, product needs, empty pallets, and damages.
- Assist other areas when appropriate.
- Collect and relocate empty pallets to designated areas and sort by type.
- Collect and move damaged product to the recycling area.
- Maintain clean equipment and work area; mop spills to keep floors dry.
- Use proper lifting techniques and follow BRC safety practices.
- Make sound decisions and multitask without constant supervision.
- Adhere to SOPs and work instructions.
- Follow GMPs and report any food safety issues.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Exhibit high ethical conduct during work and off‑site functions.
- Continuously improve knowledge through Buffalo Rock training; complete all assigned training.
- Protect the company from damage, theft, and liabilities.
- Ensure safety of employees, partners, customers, and property.

All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding:
- Lift product up to 30 pounds repeatedly per shift and up to 50 pounds intermittently.
- Move and stack pallets up to 65 pounds.
- Good vision (near, distance, color, peripheral, depth).
- Work in a fast‑paced, warm environment, especially during summer.
- Hearing required all day.
- Wear PPE: high‑visibility shirt or vest, slip‑resistant shoes, safety glasses.
- Physical presence within Vertique system at Central Hub.
Education and Experience
- High School Graduate or GED:
Preferred. - At least one (1) year of warehouse experience:
Required. - At least one (1) year operating a forklift:
Required. - Prior experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems:
Preferred.
- Read product packaging and communicate in English by radio.
- Pass forklift certification.
- Perform basic math and use Warehouse Management Systems.
