The Lead will assist store management as a working Lead in providing direction/guidance in the daily operations of the Warehouse.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Provide verbal instructions to team members to include prioritizing tasks and assisting associates with guidance on how to properly perform tasks.
- Focus on continuous process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Prioritize and organize workflow and tasks that are in line with meeting company objectives.
- Troubleshoot process issues/questions and forward any unresolved problems and needs to the Store Manager.
- Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Communicate associate development opportunities to Store Manager to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of assigned tasks
- Develop and relay process improvements to the Store Manager.
- Utilize internal computer system to research necessary information to complete orders to include looking up locations, identifying missing items on orders, identify what orders are incomplete and to find a cost for an item.
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Perform all warehouse tasks as necessary to assist in meeting daily productivity goals.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- High School Degree/Diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills to include ability to understand management directives and lead associates in complying with these directives in order to meet the daily productivity goals.
- Experience working in warehouse setting preferred
- Computer efficiency
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Capable of reaching overhead, standing and walking for extended periods of time and lift up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
