Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a tax professional with a minimum of five years of experience.
Responsibilities- Manage client relationships by organizing the completion of individual and business tax returns and coordinating clients’ data for accurate and timely completion of financial statement engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ongoing business consulting.
- Perform diversified tax and accounting assignments.
- Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.
- Meet budget time constraints and client deadlines.
- Participate in planning and scheduling of client engagements.
- Prepare working papers for tax preparation.
- Prepare routine correspondence to client and taxing jurisdictions.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and a solid business background.
- Seasonal accounting assignments, other reports, special projects, and duties as may be assigned.
- At least five years’ experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of attestation and accounting tasks and tax knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Technical expertise.
- Client-focused work ethic and passion for high-level client service.
- Bachelor’s degree in tax or accounting;
Master’s degree in tax preferred. - Minimum of forty hours continuing professional education each year.
- Current certified public accountant’s license.
- Member in good standing with the AICPA and MICPA.
- Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting and tax software programs.
Commensurate with experience.
