Tax Manager

We're looking for a Tax Manager with 5+ years of public accounting experience and a licensed CPA to join our team in a flexible work model.

As a strategic and creative tax professional, you'll provide tax compliance and consulting services to entrepreneurial clients and high-net-worth individuals, helping FMD drive growth through client-focused work and high-level service.

• Review and adjust small business clients’ financials.
• Prepare partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns.
• Review returns prepared by other team members and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure high-quality client service.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Communicate with clients, demonstrating excellent verbal and non-verbal skills.
• Maintain highest ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Manage client expectations and assist with tax-related questions.
• Research tax questions and monitor updates.

• Licensed CPA.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax.
• 5+ years of accounting and business tax preparation experience (ideal).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
