Our team works closely together to deliver a high-touch, personalized client experience. We're looking to add an Operations Associate to support our growing practice out of our Birmingham, MI office.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on operations and client service role. You’ll support our operations team by keeping our platforms running smoothly, supporting our advisors, and making sure every client interaction reflects the quality of our firm.
What You'll Do- Keep client accounts accurate and up to date — linking accounts, checking that data is correct, and pulling reports in our investment tracking system
- Log notes, tasks, and client activity in our client database (CRM)
- Help maintain client information in our financial planning tools
- Answer incoming calls and act as a friendly first point of contact for clients, passing questions along to the right advisor or team member
- Communicate professionally with our clients by phone, email, and in person
- Maintain a professional office environment — greeting clients, keeping common areas and supplies stocked, and ensuring the office is always client-ready
- Handle email and correspondence through Microsoft Outlook
- Coordinate team scheduling and messaging through Microsoft Teams
- Build and update reports and documents in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Support our advisors with day-to-day tasks, client meeting prep, and general office needs
- Work closely with our Director of Client Services each day
- Some experience in financial services, wealth management, or another client-facing role is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with similar financial platforms is a plus — but we're happy to train the right person
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word), which you'll use every day
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and at ease talking with clients
- A warm, professional presence
- A genuine team player who enjoys supporting others
- Organized and detail-oriented, can manage multiple tasks without letting anything slip
- Open to feedback and eager to grow with the firm
- Able to work part-time, 100% in our Birmingham, MI office, 9:00am–2:00pm, 4 days per week (no remote work; hours are more flexible during the summer)
- No licensing or certification required
This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate.
