Construction Manager / Superintendent

Position Overview

Rhino Building Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Superintendent for it’s luxury home building and remodeling division. This role is responsible for supervising all on-site residential construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Inspect jobs in process and at completion
  • Manage construction team
  • Schedule and oversee subcontractors
  • Approve subcontractor invoices
  • Obtain all permits and order required building materials
  • Maintain a safe and healthy job site
  • Oversee customer care work
  • Schedule and complete required building inspections
  • Collaborate with sales team to create a smooth buying process for home buyers
  • Conduct pre-settlement inspections with homeowners
  • Resolve day-to-day construction problems on the job site
  • Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualification
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of related residential construction experience (including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential and remodel construction)
  • Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of Builder Trend
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with effective organizational abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage individuals and groups effectively

  • Provide effective feedback throughout the performance management cycle
  • Participate in formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures
  • Apply creative problem-solving to address business needs and issues
