Construction Manager / Superintendent

Rhino Building Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Superintendent for it’s luxury home building and remodeling division. This role is responsible for supervising all on-site residential construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities- Inspect jobs in process and at completion
- Manage construction team
- Schedule and oversee subcontractors
- Approve subcontractor invoices
- Obtain all permits and order required building materials
- Maintain a safe and healthy job site
- Oversee customer care work
- Schedule and complete required building inspections
- Collaborate with sales team to create a smooth buying process for home buyers
- Conduct pre-settlement inspections with homeowners
- Resolve day-to-day construction problems on the job site
- Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 3–5 years of related residential construction experience (including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential and remodel construction)
- Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of Builder Trend
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage projects involving development and implementation of business processes
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage individuals and groups effectively
- Optimize team performance through coaching, motivation, and performance management
- Provide effective feedback throughout the performance management cycle
- Participate in formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures
- Apply creative problem-solving to address business needs and issues
