Special Education Teacher
Birmingham Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a MoCI classroom for the 2026-27 school year.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a SA (Special Education – Cognitive Impairment) endorsement or ability to obtain this endorsement Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge in the content area of service and MARSE regulations Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff Demonstrated competency in student management and supervision Passion and commitment to improving learning outcomes for all students Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
