We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher to join our team in Birmingham, MI. This position will begin in October 2026 and continue through December 2026. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and able to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners.

• Provide high-quality instruction to kindergarten students in accordance with the curriculum and school standards.
• Create and implement lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Valid teaching certification/license for Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with kindergarten-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and foster a positive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school community.
