Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, precedent transaction, and leveraged buyout (LBO) analyses.
  • Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising engagements, and strategic advisory projects.
  • Prepare client presentations, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, investor materials, and pitch books.
  • Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research to support ongoing advisory engagements.
  • Analyze financial statements and operating performance to identify key business drivers and valuation considerations.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including coordinating data requests and reviewing financial information.
  • Assist in managing transaction timelines, buyer and investor outreach processes, and overall deal execution.
  • Prepare valuation analyses and strategic alternatives assessments for clients.
  • Support senior bankers in business development initiatives and client relationship management efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with associates, vice presidents, directors, and managing directors on multiple transactions simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, valuation advisory, transaction services, corporate development, public accounting, or a related financial services role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience building integrated financial models preferred.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting M&A transactions or capital raising engagements.
  • Familiarity with private equity, family-owned businesses, and middle-market companies.
  • Exposure to valuation, financial due diligence, or transaction advisory services.
  • Progress toward CFA, CPA, or other financial certifications is a plus.

Expected Compensation

Base: $70k - $115k

Bonus: 25-100%
