• Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report Check.
• Must be punctual and have the ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy.
• Must have excellent “people skills”, with proven experience in customer service.
• Must possess the ability to comprehend, follow instructions, and communicate in English.
• Park, move, and drive guest vehicles during the overnight hours of operation, if applicable.
• Assist guest(s) as they enter and exit the hotel.
• Be familiar with the hotel layout, amenities, and surrounding services available in Birmingham, Michigan.
• Distribute; maintain all transport and storage of guest luggage. Delivering packages, mail, and incoming faxes.
• Inspect and polish bell carts, and wipe windows as necessary.
• Monitor marble floor in the lobby for debris from the outside and keeping dry on wet/rainy days.
• Perform shoe shine service for guests upon request.
• Provide assistance and service to guest ensuring the guest’s arrival and departure experience is pleasurable, informative.
• Regulate luggage, keeping the lobby and hallways clear.

• Requires working 50% of the time at the hotel entrance.
• Working in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
• Requires the ability to work an overnight shift on rotation.
• Must be able to safely grasp, lift, and carry or move goods weighing up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.
• Efficiently using a computer, phone systems, and two way radios to communicate and exchange information.
