Volunteer Opportunity – Pop‑Up Pantry
The Dre Project officially launched on January 4, 2021 with the aim of bringing light and positivity to the world. We deliver 60 pounds of dry goods, a home cooked meal, and a birthday box to families facing hardship. Our services are funded entirely through private donations, enabling us to serve anyone at any time.
We are partnering with US Food Rescue to host pop‑up fresh perishable food pantries every Sunday across Metro Detroit. Volunteers are needed to help set up and manage the pantry, allowing people to select items.
Locations (rotate weekly)- Stumble Beer Co., Troy
- Say Detroit Play Center on Van Dyke Avenue
- Two James Spirits on Michigan Avenue
- The Congregation on Rosa Parks
