We're seeking a part-time weekend hands‑on maintenance professional who takes pride in solving problems, completing repairs, and keeping facilities operating smoothly. If you enjoy variety in your work and seeing the results of your efforts, this role is for you!
Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of the hotel’s physical structure and components.
- Perform and assist in the completion of routine maintenance and the physical structure of the hotel.
- Completion of work orders and radio calls when assigned, in an orderly and efficient manner with an emphasis on resolving guest concerns quickly.
- Completion of tasks deemed necessary by the Director of Facilities and/or the Engineering Supervisor to ensure up‑to‑date Preventive Maintenance.
- Assist in servicing and maintaining system controls, devices, instruments and various building hardware as instructed by the Director of Facilities and/or the Engineering Supervisor.
- Comply with all relevant federal, state and local compliance ordinances.
- Conduct daily inspections of all public areas.

- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Light commercial HVAC system repair skills.
- Basic knowledge necessary to interpret electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building system drawings.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems with the ability to analyze machine design intent, performance and make repairs as needed.
- Requires working in all areas of the hotel with associated extreme temperatures, inclement weather, high noise levels, working heights, and dusty or dirty conditions throughout the property.
- Must be able to safely grasp, lift and carry or otherwise move goods weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Must be capable of working effectively from heights up to 30 feet.
- Must be capable of effectively using a computer, phone systems and two‑way radios.
- May be required to use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing and respiratory protection.
