Max AI is the world's first human-free, fully autonomous medical billing AI agent. The market is large and growing, with estimates around $350B per year. Our team is focused on building the best solutions in medical billing, starting with dermatology and expanding to other specialties. Our leadership includes experienced AI researchers and engineers with notable track records in AI and product development.

• Build, experiment, and evaluate AI agents and ML models in the NLP domain to improve the accuracy of medical coding, billing, and other revenue cycle management aspects.
• Contribute to internal AI frameworks to enable the development of AI agents and ML models.
• Collaborate with a small, high-impact team and engage directly with Operations and customers to drive meaningful improvements.

• 6+ years of ML/AI/data science experience in a production setting.
• Proficiency with ML/NLP Python packages such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, transformers (and related Hugging Face tools).
• Expertise in AI/ML with a focus on NLP (pre-processing, embeddings, transformer-based models).
• Experience with LLMs, including supervised fine-tuning, AI frameworks, and evaluation of LLMs.

• Exposure to highly regulated industries and/or healthcare.
• Experience with AWS.
