Nursery Practitioner - £500 Welcome Scheme Position Summary

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at My First Friends Rubery nursery located at Ashbrook Drive, Rednal, Rubery, Birmingham, West Midlands, B45 9FP
.

Key Details

Pay: Up to £26,705 per annum, based on experience (41.25 hours per week).

Working Hours: Full‑time 41.25 hours per week (8.25 hours per day with 45‑minute lunch, Monday‑Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
Qualifications

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). No sponsorship is available for this role.
