Are you ready to embark on an enriching career journey? We’re seeking a Senior Social Worker specialising in Children in Care to join our team in Birmingham. This ongoing contract offers a rewarding rate of £30.57 per hour for a full-time role, providing a fantastic opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of children and young people in care, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Conduct assessments and reviews of cases, making informed decisions to facilitate the best outcomes for the children.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including health care professionals, educators, and legal advisors to coordinate services and support for children and their families.
- Engage with children, families, and carers to provide support, guidance, and ensure their voices are heard and respected in the care process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work undertaken, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Registration with Social Work England is essential.
- Possess a relevant Degree or equivalent in Social Work or Social Care.
- Demonstrable recent experience working within the UK social work sector.
