Job Title: Children’s Home Registered Manager

Location: Acocks Green, Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 pa plus bonuses

Working Hours: Full-time

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People (EBD, Complex Care)

Home: 4 Beds, to be run as 3 Bed

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to start within 6 months of employment

At least 2 years in residential childcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people. You will have a strong background in residential childcare, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

Your Senior Leadership team: The Regional Manager has 15 Years of experience in Children's Residential.

As a Registered Manager, you will be supported to deliver outstanding care, develop a strong team, and achieve high‑quality standards for the young people in your care.

• Passion: Commitment to making a positive impact on young people’s lives
• Experience: At least 2 years in residential childcare, including 1 year in a supervisory role
• Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to enrol within 6 months
• Knowledge: Familiarity with The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
• Skills: Leadership, planning, organising, and budget control
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour
• Driving License: Full UK required
