Job Description:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children.
This role involves working in a nursery environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while fostering their development through engaging activities.
The Nursery Practitioner will communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues whilst demonstrating qualities to create a nurturing atmosphere.
Responsibilities Take part in daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Communicate effectively with children to support their emotional and social growth.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of childcare.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.
Uphold health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
A level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to engage children in meaningful play and learning experiences.
A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to children's welfare.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances within the nursery environment.
