CPSS are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Playworker to join our team and support children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. We require a play worker for a school based the Chelmsley wood area of Birmingham to work full or part time starting asap lay
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and engage children in play activities
- Help plan and prepare age-appropriate activities
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety procedures are followed
- Support children's social and emotional development
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Playwork (e.g., Level 2/3 Diploma in Childcare, Playwork, or Early Years Educator)
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience and Paediatric First Aid are desirable
