History Teacher

Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to work at a high school in Birmingham City Centre.

We are looking for a qualified teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire students and create a positive learning environment. The Role

* Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to secondary school students.

* Teach a range of historical topics in line with the school curriculum.

* Encourage students to develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and critical thinking.

* Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities.

* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

* Experience teaching History at secondary school level.

* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

* A positive, flexible and professional approach.

* A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students.

* A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.

Location

Birmingham City Centre.
