Team Leader – Front Office
Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a contemporary four‑star hotel located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall, the International Convention Centre, Brindley Place and the Bullring shopping centre. The hotel features 319 rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a traditional pub‑style bar, and a spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.
Responsibilities- Oversee the smooth running of the front‑office shift, working full‑time including weekends as required.
- Assist the Management Team in the effective operation of the Front Office Department to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and adherence to hotel standards.
- Supervise the Front Desk team and ensure VIPs, World of Hyatt members and Regency Club guests are checked in according to hotel policy.
- Handle guest queries and complaints, reporting all complaints to the manager.
- Work 40 hours per week on a shift rota base, including early, late and weekend shifts.
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all guests’ needs are met.
- Previous experience in a similar front‑office leadership role.
- Good knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and Reserve.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- Organised, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure, diffusing conflict and responding quickly to changing guest demands.
- Salary: £27,664 per annum.
