Our client, a leading training provider in the education sector, is currently seeking a Hospitality Learning Coach to join their team. This permanent role will involve working closely with learners within the hospitality industry, guiding them through their apprenticeship programmes and helping them develop essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience managing both Front of House and Back of House operations within hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and support learners in their workplace, focusing on the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to achieve apprenticeship standards.
Work with renowned hospitality employers to deliver high-quality training and support.
Monitor learner progress and ensure achievement of learning objectives and milestones.
Collaborate with employers to align training delivery with workplace requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality industry standards and apprenticeship frameworks.
Deliver support through a blend of face-to-face and virtual learning.
Accurately record and track learner progress using relevant systems and tools.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Management or supervisory experience across both Front of House and Back of House hospitality operations
A professional cookery qualification or substantial experience within a fresh food cooking environment.
NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality.
Extensive vocational experience across areas such as food and beverage service, food production, reception, housekeeping, or beverage service.
Strong communication, organisational, and coaching skills.
The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and delivering against targets and deadlines.
Desirable Skills and Experience
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or Hospitality Supervision.
BTEC Level 3 in Hospitality Management.
Experience working within apprenticeship, training, education, or work-based learning environments.
