Salary: £39,000–£41,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + up to 32% bonus

Albert’s Schloss Birmingham is looking for a Bar Manager with serious energy, big ambition and a passion for brilliant hospitality to join our team. This isn’t your average bar management role.

Albert’s Schloss is a world of its own — a high-energy, immersive venue where great drinks, great food, live entertainment and unforgettable guest experiences collide. From perfectly poured pilsners in the Bier Palace to cocktails at the bar, late-night parties and seven nights of SHOWTIME, there’s always something happening. And we’re looking for someone who wants to be right at the heart of it.

As Bar Manager, you’ll be one of the driving forces behind our bar operation.

You’ll lead from the front, setting the standard for service, drinks, pace, energy and guest experience, while building a team that genuinely loves what they do.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced operation — so you’ll need to be someone who thrives when the venue is buzzing, the music is playing and there are hundreds of guests ready to have a brilliant night.

You’ll have real ownership of your area, from team performance and development to commercial results, standards and guest satisfaction. You’ll spot opportunities, solve problems and constantly look for ways to make things even better.

You’ll also get stuck into our full Schloss training programme, getting to know every part of the operation before using that knowledge to lead, coach and elevate your bar team.

In short? You’ll be responsible for making sure our bars are as brilliant behind the scenes as they are in front of our guests.

• Has proven management experience in a wet-led, high-volume environment
• Knows how to lead from the front and bring energy to a team
• Loves coaching, developing and motivating people — whether through 1:1s, incentives, feedback or simply leading by example
• Is obsessed with delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Has a strong commercial mindset and understands KPIs, sales, costs and financial performance
• Takes pride in standards and isn’t afraid to get stuck in
• Is ambitious, curious and always looking for the next way to improve
• Genuinely loves hospitality and wants to build a career, not just work a shift
