Today, we operate 17 coworking, event and members’ club spaces across London, Birmingham, Manchester and Milton Keynes, supporting a community of more than 5,000 members - with more launches on the horizon!

eighteen is our private members’ club and event space at the top of 103 Colmore Row, right in the heart of Birmingham. With panoramic views across the city, it’s a comfortable place for people to work, meet, eat, drink, connect and host some pretty special events.

We’re looking for a Club & Events Host to join our incredible team s is a varied, hands‑on role at the heart of the club, combining member experience, events and day‑to‑day operations. You’ll be a familiar face for our members, building relationships, making people feel at home and getting stuck into whatever the day brings.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Looking after our members, from everyday queries and requests to onboarding, renewals and general membership admin.

• Supporting our programme of member events, private hires and celebrations, including set‑up, suppliers, hosting and on‑the‑day delivery.

• Providing hands‑on floor and bar support and stepping up as Duty Manager when required.

• Supporting membership billing and keeping member information and club systems accurate and up to date.

• Using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, alongside Hub Spot and Office
  
  RnD. Experience with the latter two is useful, but not essential – we can teach those.

This is a variable‑hours contract (approx. 20 hrs per week), with a mix of daytime, evening and occasional weekend shifts. Hours will vary depending on what’s happening in the club and our events calendar, so some flexibility will be important.

You’ll probably have some experience in hospitality, events, members’ clubs or another customer‑facing environment, but for us, attitude and personality are just as important. You’ll be warm, confident and naturally good with people, with a real instinct for making others feel welcome.

You’ll also be:

• Organised, adaptable and comfortable juggling a few things at once.

• Calm under pressure and confident dealing with the unexpected.

• Happy to take on responsibility and step up to lead a shift when needed.

• Comfortable with both the people‑facing and admin sides of the role.

• A proper team player who’s always willing to help – there’s no “that’s not my job” mentality here.

We want people to enjoy coming to work. Even on Mondays.

You’ll be joining an amazing, supportive team (the GM is fantastic!!), in a stunning space with some of the best views across Birmingham.
