Plumbing Engineer

Home Serve are now recruiting for directly employed Plumbing Engineers to join our team!

Location:

Birmingham

Full Time – 40 hours per week. This includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work.

Salary – £34,800 – £38,950 (salary dependent upon experience) plus a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year.

At Home Serve we put the customers’ experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a Plumbing Engineer you will undertake maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in customers’ homes, providing industry‑leading service that enhances our reputation and drives growth.

• Level 2 Plumbing certification (certificates required)
• Experience with 1st and 2nd fix plumbing
• Domestic housing plumbing experience
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Excellent customer‑service skills
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude
• Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills

To help you settle into your career at Home Serve, you will undertake an extensive training programme.

• Week 1 – Attend our Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday; cover Home Serve, health and safety, and receive tools and equipment.
• Week 2 – Be buddy‑up with an experienced Home Serve Plumbing Engineer.

Where geographically appropriate, we will pay for accommodation and meal allowance during induction.
