Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits

Birmingham (field-based)
We’re recruiting experienced Field Maintenance Engineers to join a respected specialist in fire suppression and safety systems. You’ll play a key role maintaining and repairing water mist fire suppression systems for clients across the London or Birmingham regions.

The Role:

Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs of water mist fire suppression systems
Liaise with the office to plan maintenance visits and ensure all equipment and parts are available
Provide a professional on-site service, representing the company to customers with high standards of conduct and safety
Complete all job paperwork accurately via tablet or iPad
Participate in call-out duties on a rota basis
Maintain your service vehicle, tools and PPE to required standards
Follow all QHSE procedures and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations

Requirements:

Good knowledge of water mist fire suppression systems and the wider fire protection sector
Proven experience in a field engineer, maintenance, or service technician role
Relevant technical qualifications – ideally Level 3 Electrical (18th Edition preferred)
Confident using digital reporting tools (tablet/iPad)
Full UK driving licence
Able to pass Enhanced Level 1 security vetting (custodial establishments) – support provided

£35,000 – £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
