Mobile Forklift Engineer

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum

40 Hours Per Week | Monday – Friday | 8am – 4.30pm

Door-to-Door Pay | Van & Fuel Card | National Support

My client, a well-established national materials handling company, is seeking a dependable Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their service division in the Birmingham area. This is a permanent role offering consistent work, structured support, and room to grow within a reputable business.

• Maintenance, servicing and LOLER inspections of forklifts
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Providing field-based support to a range of clients
• Keeping accurate service reports and adhering to safety policies

• Engineering experience in forklifts, plant or similar
• NVQ Level 2 / 3 preferred
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

• £35K–£40K base salary
• Door-to-door travel + overtime at 1.5x
• Fully equipped van + fuel card
• Structured training and clear progression routes
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• On-call rota every 5–6 weeks (additional allowance paid)
