Maintenance Electrician

Overview

Maintenance Electrician. Site based, Birmingham. £37,400 per annum, OTE £50,000 and above + Plenty of Overtime + No shift work + Early Finish on Fridays + 33 Days Holiday inc Bank Holidays.

• Carry out pre-hire inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical distribution boards, AMF panels, and cabling, diagnose faults and establish requirements for repair, repair damaged equipment upon return to depot, ensuring it meets company standards.
• Ad-hoc electrical tasks around the depot.
• Occasional travel to other depots for servicing or repairs.
• Normal working week Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30.
• Overtime:
  Monday to Thursday: 1.5x 06:00 - 08:00 and 16:30 - 00:00;
  Friday: 15:30 - 00:00;
  Saturday: 1.5x 06:00 - 12:00 and 2x 00:00 - 06:00 and 12:00 - 00:00;
  Sunday: 2x all day.

• 18th Edition qualified Electrician.
• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Understanding or experience of the hire industry.
• ECS Card preferred but not essential.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Good IT skills.
