💷 Salary: £28,000 – £34,000

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrician to join a healthcare facilities team based at a major acute hospital in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday with no on-call requirement.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair works across the hospital estate

* Complete reactive tasks including trip faults, socket repairs, lighting faults and circuit issues

* Maintain and test emergency lighting systems and nurse call systems

* Replace and install light fittings, accessories and small electrical components

* Undertake improvement works and minor installations as required

* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with contract KPIs and statutory regulations

* Carry out routine testing and inspections in line with current wiring regulations

* Report defects, hazards or unusual findings to the Supervisor

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Qualifications:

* Approved Electrical Apprenticeship

* AM2

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)

* Relevant Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (C&G / EAL / NVQ equivalent)

Other Requirements:

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Ability to pass a Standard DBS check
