Vehicle Mechanic

An experienced Vehicle Mechanic is sought by an established, family‑run vehicle repair workshop in Digbeth, Birmingham that has been operating for over 40 years. They are looking for an enthusiastic and confident expert in vehicle repair to join their well‑equipped, modern facilities on a permanent, full‑time basis, working Monday to Friday with no weekends.

• Servicing and repairing vehicles of all makes and models
• Fitting and replacing components including timing belts and clutches
• Running diagnostic checks
• Working on both petrol and diesel vehicles
• Large focus on vans

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of repairing and servicing a range of vehicle models, particularly vans
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience fitting and replacing parts (clutches, timing belts) to a high standard and within an established timeframe
• Full UK driving licence
• Within commuting distance to Birmingham City Centre

• Full time Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
• No weekend work

• £30,000 – £35,000 salary depending on experience
• 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays and Christmas closure days)
• Safety clothing (including boots) provided
• Sick pay
