Electrician - Permanent Role

Location:

Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Leicester, Worcester, Tamworth and Northampton areas
Salary: £20.08 per hour + £0.25 per hour on-call allowance

About the Role
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic Facilities Management team delivering electrical solutions and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

This is a varied role covering installation, testing, maintenance, and fault-finding across multiple locations within the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installation works
Electrical testing and inspection
Fault finding and general maintenance
Structured cabling installations (preferred but not essential)
Participating in an on-call rota
Liaising with clients to understand and deliver their requirements
Working across commercial and industrial environments
Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or completed electrical apprenticeship
18th Edition (BS7671:(Apply online only), 2394/2395, or equivalent testing qualification
Valid JIB grading card
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK Desirable (not essential):

BS5266-1 Emergency Lighting
IPAF and/or PASMA certification

The Ideal Candidate

Experienced in commercial and industrial electrical systems
Confident in installations, testing, and maintenance
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure
